FP Transitions Announces Additions to Valuation and Analysis Team to Meet Surging Valuation Demand

PORTLAND, Ore. -- FP Transitions, the leading provider of valuation, succession planning and practice equity growth services, announced today the reorganization of its valuation department to enhance quality and develop new valuation products to bring to market. The company has produced over 4,600 valuations of investment advisory firms including RIAs, registered representatives, and insurance practices. With demand for business valuations surging this year, the company is moving to meet the need by adding talent to its team of analysts. Eric Leeper, who has continuously provided unique insights into the quantitative aspects of practice management and valuation, has been named Vice President of Research and Analysis. The company has also hired Patrick DeGiovanni as a Senior Analyst. DeGiovanni adds additional experience in statistics and business analysis to the team. Leeper and DeGiovanni will join the existing team of four valuation professionals to maintain the highest standard of analysis and research to serve the financial services professional.

According to Brad Bueermann, CEO of FP Transitions, “The focus of our new research and analysis team will be to take greater advantage of the large proprietary database of valuations and closed transactions to better assist advisors in guiding the value growth of their firms.”

The delivery of practice valuations will be will now be coordinated through the Equity Management Solutions ® department headed by Ryan Grau. The Equity Management team has also recently expanded its workforce, adding Marcus Hagood, formerly of TD Ameritrade and Securities America.

In addition, Bueermann says, “By delivering our valuations through the Equity Management Solutions®, we can do a better job of anticipating and helping clients with needs centered around valuation such as Continuity Planning, Succession Planning, and M&A demand. The level of analysis and support that we provide the industry has substantially grown over the last 15 years, we now have a team of 25 professionals dedicated to the innovation and growth of the financial services industry through proper succession planning practices.”

As part of this reorganization, Erik Pahlow, formerly Valuations Director, is no longer with the company.
