Sam brings a lot to our FPT team and clients with his unique blend of a zest for life and a dedication to consistent, accurate work.

A lifelong Oregonian who takes a backpack trip to a new location in the Beaver State each summer, it’s no surprise that Sam stayed in-state for his college education. At Oregon State University, he was something of an overachiever, graduating with majors in both Mathematical Economics and Sustainability and a minor in Asian Language and Culture. Still, he somehow managed to squeeze in coaching his Greek Life team in the All University “Sing!” performance.

While completing his studies, Sam worked at Cellular Sales, Verizon’s primary Authorized Retailer, and was their top salesman of the month on multiple occasions. There — and in his previous role as an At-Home Advisor for Applecare — he had the opportunity to grow his customer service abilities.

After college, Sam joined our FP Transitions team. He helps our clients evaluate their books and provide FPT with the necessary details to deliver Comprehensive Valuation Reports with the highest level of accuracy possible. Sam sees himself staying on with FPT long-term, tapping into the opportunity to deepen his knowledge about the world of finance and hone his data analysis skills.

Sam’s regular interfacing with clients is one of his favorite parts of his job. He loves the constant change new clients bring to the table, and enjoys how that balances with the more consistent data entry aspects of his role.

When he’s not helping our clients, you can find Sam spending time with his two Holland lop-eared rabbits (Jo and Beasley), gathering his gang of friends for a happy hour or their sport of choice, playing the piano, or learning new recipes in the kitchen. If you ever have the opportunity, you should try his perfectly cooked, never-dry filet mignon.
