Michele Griffin
Business Intelligence Analyst
With over 30 years of experience working with data across the medical, insurance, financial, and marketing sectors, Michele brings insight and versatility to her role as a Business Intelligence Analyst at FP Transitions.
Her passion for clean, reliable data is matched only by her drive to uncover the stories it tells — and to make that information actionable for teams across the organization.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Idaho and recently earned her Master of Science in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. As part of her graduate work, she developed a machine learning model designed to identify key factors influencing cancer patient survival — a project that reflects both her technical skill and her commitment to meaningful, real-world impact.
Her career path is as diverse as it is dynamic. Michele has worked in the wire fraud department of a bank, owned and operated her own business as a marketing analyst and writer, and most recently, created and led the IT department at a large insurance agency. There, she worked extensively with accounting and third-party data, earning her Oregon property and casualty insurance license along the way.
At FP Transitions, Michele plays a pivotal role in organizing and refining company data, ensuring that every department has access to accurate, trustworthy information. Her analytical mindset and problem-solving instincts make her a go-to resource for complex data challenges.
Outside of work, Michele’s creativity and curiosity continue to shine. She’s written a travel book and painted murals at Providence Park, blending her love of storytelling and art. A proud supporter of the Oregon Coast Aquarium, she contributes through membership and animal adoptions — a reflection of her appreciation for wildlife and conservation. Always planning her next adventure, Michele is looking forward to exploring new destinations and experiences around the world.
