Leslie brings strategic insight and operational clarity to her role as a Business Development Consultant at FP Transitions. With a foundation in business structure, regulatory consulting, and firsthand exposure to both the wins and pitfalls of M&A, she helps firm owners navigate growth and transition with equal parts precision and perspective.

Her recent experience in the tech world gave her a front-row seat to what happens when transitions fall short—when numbers align but people don’t. That view sparked a shift: to be part of a company that not only gets M&A right, but treats it as something more than a transaction. For Leslie, one belief stands out: good transitions make a business stronger; great ones honor the people inside it.

Her path began with a pre-law undergrad and early work as a paralegal in civil litigation. That foundation led to a career in consulting, supporting businesses across highly regulated industries like finance, tech, and healthcare. From startups to established firms, she’s focused on operations, scaling strategy, and execution. After launching and running her own business, Leslie found her real passion lies in guiding others—helping leaders see the big picture, plan with purpose, and move forward with clarity.

She’s also a long-time supporter of community causes, volunteering with her local youth sports programs and supporting cancer survivors with Kiteboard for Cancer.

A proud Texan turned Oregon adventurer, Leslie has called the Pacific Northwest home for nearly 14 years. Off the clock, she’s usually outdoors—backpacking new trails, snowboarding fresh powder, kiteboarding the Columbia River Gorge, or paddleboarding mountain lakes with her partner Jeff, her son Eli, and Cooper, their corgi-in-command.

Currently, Leslie is working on her golf game (progress pending), and firmly believes that most of life’s moments are made better with oysters and a glass of champagne.
