Kamran's focus is on providing strategic legal analysis and practical solutions for advisors navigating complex transactions, ownership transitions, and business formation.

Before joining FP Transitions, Kamran spent several years practicing business law at boutique firms, including Cultiva Law and Kight Law Office, where he became a trusted legal advisor for clients in the federally regulated hemp and state regulated cannabis industries. During that time, he authored a substantial body of legal writing and developed a reputation as an expert on the statutory and regulatory frameworks around hemp and CBD manufacturing, transport, and sales.

His desire to expand his expertise in mergers and acquisitions, and to engage with a business model that rewards long-term relationship-building led him to FP Transitions. Driving strategic outcomes through legal insight, he supports a team dedicated to creating sustainable business structures and empowering advisor-owners to capture and grow their equity value.

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Kamran's family gradually moved west, first to Salt Lake City where his sister was born, and finally settling in Eugene where Kamran grew up to be a proud lifelong Duck (Go Ducks!). He earned his JD from the University of Oregon and holds a BA in Middle East Studies from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.

A lifelong snowboarder and certified first responder, he volunteers with Mt. Hood Ski Patrol at Timberline Lodge, helping ensure on-mountain safety and emergency response. He also enjoys live music across genres, with a particular love for the Grateful Dead and a collection of vintage t-shirts and tour photos. He's a proud uncle to three young nieces and nephews and can juggle three physical objects at a time.

Whether advising on a merger or skiing into a whiteout, he brings a steady, thoughtful presence to every situation.
