As a well-versed student of business, Cole offers an array of expertise in all things data.

Cole Bauge is an M&A Analyst at FP Transitions, where he supports the team through financial analysis, deal modeling, offer comparisons, and other analytical work related to mergers and acquisitions. Since joining FP Transitions in 2023 as a Financial Analyst, Cole has contributed to valuations, model development, compensation consulting, succession planning, and M&A-related projects. He has also played an active role in product and process innovation across the firm.

A native Oregonian, Cole grew up in the small town of Molalla on a four-acre farm where his family raised goats, cows, and horses. He stayed close to home for college, attending the University of Oregon, where he graduated with honors with a B.S. in Business Administration, specializing in marketing and minoring in economics. He went on to earn his MBA in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from the University of Oregon at just 23 years old.

During his MBA program, Cole worked with the Oregon Consulting Group, a student-led consulting firm serving clients across a range of industries. There, he helped develop KPI dashboards for a cannabis retailer and supported strategy work for the launch of a new center of excellence in additive metal manufacturing. He also spent two terms as a project manager at the University of Oregon Entrepreneurship Center, overseeing 19 client-facing consulting projects.

Outside the office, Cole enjoys cooking on his Blackstone griddle, exploring new restaurants, and trying new food and drinks. He also enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures, a passion sparked during his MBA program when he visited Paris, London, Mykonos, and Milan. Cole stays active by spending time at the gym, running, and playing pickleball with his family.
