Pursuing his law career led Anthony to Oregon — his dream state — and to our team at FP Transitions.

As an avid sports fan, Anthony likens the dynamic and collaborative nature of his work at FP Transitions to the sports he loves. Anthony is a self-proclaimed facilitator, growing up as a center midfielder on the soccer pitch and an old school point guard on the hardwood. Anthony brings his playing style to FP, where he prides himself on being a connector whose job is to develop and execute the gameplan, letting his clients — the forwards, the scorers, and the stars — shine the brightest.

Hailing from Montana, Anthony spent his undergraduate years tucked in the mountains of Missoula, earning two Bachelor’s degrees — in Finance and Marketing, with a minor in Economics — from the University of Montana. Upon graduation, Anthony enrolled at the University of Oregon School of Law to pursue his Juris Doctor and become a lawyer. During his time at UO, Anthony won a Mock Trial competition, competed regionally on the negotiations team as part of the Moot Court Board, joined the prestigious Oregon Law Review as an editor, supported local business owners with pro bono transactional work in the Business Law Clinic, and even found time to serve as the Commissioner of the Law Basketball Association, an independently funded and operated basketball league for graduate students at UO. Anthony graduated near the top of his class, passed the bar exam, and kicked off his legal career by serving as a Law Clerk for Hon. Eric J. Bloch of the Multnomah County Circuit Court. Immediately prior to joining FP Transitions, Anthony worked as a State and Local Tax Consultant on a small team of lawyers and accountants at Moss Adams (now Baker Tilly), a large national accounting firm.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys engaging with art, movies, and literature, especially over a strong espresso. A self-taught pianist and guitarist and an avid singer in his younger years, Anthony enjoys humming a tune alongside simple chord progressions or venturing out for a night of karaoke (his go-to song is Piano Man by Billy Joel). Of course, he also plays as much basketball as his knees allow.
