Ailish is a born-and-raised Oregonian as Program Manager for our Enterprise Consulting team. With a career spanning several distinct roles and industries, she has many stories to tell, and is an extremely well-rounded member of the FP team. Ailish has spent the majority of her time in the legal field, most recently focused on estate planning and trust administration. That said, she has also taken a few forays into sustainable farming, event planning, and dog training–just to keep things interesting.

An interest in archival work and love for details led Ailish to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in English from Portland's Lewis & Clark College, where her thesis paper on the 14th-century poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight won the department award for its research into the historical context behind the Arthurian legend.

After spending two years on FP's talented Paralegal roster, Ailish now brings specialized legal knowledge, her wide range of experience, and a drive to learn to the Consulting team, where she keeps our projects on track. When not in the office, Ailish continues the creative problem-solving by tending to her critters (two cats, one Belgian Malinois), her garden, or her video games.

Now, Ailish brings her legal background, her wide range of past jobs, and her drive to learn to FP’s legal team. Ailish assists our attorneys in ensuring that client specifications are reflected in their contracts, she drafts reference documents for the team, and performs research on business filing. She serves as the glue that keeps our legal engagements running smoothly.

As a Transaction Support Specialist, Ailish looks forward to growing her professional skillset and getting a feel for the financial industry, which she has not worked in before. In deciding to accept a role at FP, Ailish was particularly drawn to the intelligence and camaraderie of the legal team: “I really like working with such a smart and high-performing group of people. Though I am new still, I can tell that the caliber of work here is head and shoulders above the rest, and I look forward to growing with and learning from a stellar team of professionals.”

When she is not working on FP’s legal engagements, Ailish is hanging out with Xena, her Belgian Malinois, watching movies, or cooking with her partner. In addition to her home cooking ventures, Ailish enjoys exploring new restaurants and cocktail spots, and finding her new favorite white wine. As Ailish always says, “good food and good wine is what life is all about!” As for her personal goals, Ailish is currently working on her Spanish, so that she can visit her dad who lives in Spain more frequently, and she hopes to one day publish her own poetry collection.
