From archaeology to block printing, Stephanie's talents know no bounds.

Originally from San Francisco, Stephanie and her family moved to Portland when she was a young girl. She later returned to California to attend the University of San Diego to earn degrees in both French and history. With a true love for learning and travel, Stephanie turned her attention to archaeology and pursued a master’s degree from Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. One of the highlights of her time there was participating in a summer-long archaeological dig in Maryport, England.

While in England, she started monthly historical walking tours and brought the tradition home with her when she returned to the States. Once back in Portland, she went on to work at the Portland’s Children Museum, where she meshed her interest in science and exploration with helping visitors get the most out of their experiences. A genuine people-person and natural-born crafter, Stephanie brings her expert interpersonal skills and creative flair to the EMS team.

As EMS coordinator, Stephanie provides client support and helps members manage their accountsWhen she’s not at the office, she can be found with her nose in a book or getting her hands on her next craft project.
