An avid outdoorsman and basketball aficionado, Parker brings his love of the game to FP Transitions.

Growing up in Portland, Oregon, Parker's zest for the outdoors goes beyond the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. For the past four summers, he's traveled to a different national park for a week-long backpacking trip to explore everything nature has to offer. Whether it's backpacking, hiking, camping, or skiing, being active (and outside) is what drives him.

Once outdoor season is over, Parker can be found at his favorite local brewery enjoying a Hazy IPA while rooting on his hometown basketball team, the Portland Trail Blazers. His passion for basketball started in 2007 when he watched Brandon Roy slice teams up and down the court. From there, his fascination grew. He diligently studies the NBA news and is the source for "all things basketball" at the office.

Parker graduated from Gonzaga University with degrees in financing and supply chain management. While at Gonzaga, he led a project that turned empty dorm rooms into study spaces. Seeing the struggle between students who needed to unwind with those who needed to study, Parker worked with the university to install white boards and study desks in unused dorm rooms. The result was more space in the common areas and more capacity for students to both work and play.
