While Anthony grew up in Montana, he’s had his eye on Oregon for a long time. Although he made the financially responsible decision to stay in-state and attend the University of Montana for his undergraduate degrees — in finance and marketing, with a minor in economics — law school presented a new opportunity. He headed to the University of Oregon, finally realizing his dream of moving to The Beaver State. 

During his first year of law school, Anthony won a mock trial competition that landed him a spot on the Moot Court Board. There, he joined the Negotiations Teams and competed in regional competitions. He also acted as the Commissioner of the U of O Law Basketball Association. 

He decided his plate wasn’t full just yet, though. Anthony also served as a student attorney in the Business Law Clinic. There, he provided legal services to clients including Nike — fitting for him, since he’s a sneakerhead. 

After completing his JD, Anthony clerked in the Multnomah County Circuit Court and worked as a State and Local Tax Consultant with Moss Adams, LLP. Then, he found us.

“What sold me on FPT was the culture and the people,” Anthony says. “It was clear throughout my interview process that culture is top of mind for everyone in the organization.” This matters to Anthony not just for himself, but also for his clients. “Culture building within an organization is truly the best thing a company can do for its clients,” he explains. 

Anthony is excited about growing with our FPT team as he builds his skillsets as a lawyer and a business consultant. “I look forward to building my own legacy here to add to FP’s already stellar reputation in the financial industry,” he says. 

When he’s not acting as an integral part of our legal team, you can find Anthony taking advantage of his long-awaited Oregon residency. You might spot him at the Moda Center for a Blazers game, meandering around Powell’s Books, or at Index, building his already-extensive sneaker collection. He owns upwards of 100 pairs, by his estimation. 

Anthony also loves sports — including basketball, flag football, and soccer — and music. He sang with the “Aca-fellas” in high school and taught himself to play piano and guitar.
