Since joining FP Transitions in 2011, Christine has been one of the principal drivers behind the growth and success of the Equity Management System®, a program that now boasts approximately 2,000 members and 20 independent broker-dealers and custodians. Whether speaking, publishing or helping advisors one-on-one, she brings to her work at FP Transitions an enthusiasm and perspective befitting a seasoned traveler. As the VP of Strategic Development and Operations, Christine is one of the chief architects of the FP Transitions vision and team.
Christine is a graduate with honors from Oregon State University, where she focused on European history and politics, and participated in international study programs in France and the Czech Republic. Using her language skills in French and German, she ventured to Switzerland after graduation, where she worked for the president of a boutique executive search firm in between road trips to Italy, Germany, and France. Returning stateside and determined to “get serious,” she enrolled in law school but was turned her off by the adversarial, combative nature of the work. She refocused and grounded her curious and collaborative personality in the technical study of accounting and taxation.
When not recruiting the next generation of talent or flying around the country to meet with our partners, Christine explores the Pacific Northwest with her husband and daughters. She is an avid cyclist and has competed in the Oregon State Time Trial competition, and numerous "century" rides. One of several wine industry “boomerangs” at the firm, she is our resident wine expert and partner in a microbrewery. She is one of the next-generation leaders at FP Transitions.

A graduate of the University of Oregon with a degree in marketing (and captained the rugby team), Larry has enjoyed a diversified career in business brokerage, real estate development, and currency trading. Larry joined FP Transitions over five years ago to set up our Sales and Services Department, designed to help advisors learn the precise steps they would need to take to accomplish their goals, whether that was selling and calling it a day, building through acquisition, valuing and protecting their practice, or starting to work on a 10 to 20 year succession plan.
Larry, along with Doug Kreft, provide “the voice” of FP Transitions to thousands of advisors every year, spending countless but valuable hours on the phone listening to our clients, and then explaining what we can do to make their practices more valuable, more efficient, and more enjoyable.
Larry enjoys travel, golf, and scuba diving, as well as wine tasting in our beautifl Oregon countryside. He is married with two children.

A successful and well-educated entrepreneur who now brings his passion for business (and the Ducks) to the independent financial services industry.
Like the advisors he assists every day, Doug is a successful business owner. Starting, running, and eventually selling Western Fine Foods, Ltd. (in England), he grew the business to $8 million in annual sales with 40 employees. He has also run Kreft Tree Farm, a Douglas Fir plantation, and Oregon Export and Import Company, exporting U.S. products to Europe.

An Oregon native, Doug attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he earned a B.A. in economics, with minors in political science and history. Upon returning to Oregon, Doug attended Portland State University for post-baccalaureate work, majoring in accounting and commercial law. Doug served as staff accountant for the firm of Laventhol & Horwath, CPAs.
Doug is an avid college football and Chicago Cubs fan. Doug is married with two children and just to give you an idea of his travels, his children have a total of five passports!
Client Relations Manager
Born with a golf club in his hand, Mike brings fun, light-hearted humor, and enthusiasm for life to FP Transitions.
Mike has played golf for as long he can remember and achieved his first hole-in-one at the age of ten, so it should come as no surprise that he played golf for Oregon State University while he studied journalism.
In his early career, he found himself working in business and advertising, and eventually landed a job with Nike Golf as both the regional and national sales rep in golf apparel. He developed the concept for the Mobile Pro Shop when he noticed apparel and equipment were competing for the same business. The Mobile Pro Shop is now considered an industry standard in the golf business.
With the spirit of an entrepreneur, Mike built a business from scratch and later sold it. As a former business owner, Mike understands the financial and emotional hurdles that goes into selling a business, and he brings that experience with him to the FPT team. Mike works across multiple departments, including Business Development, Legal, and Valuations & Member Services. He supports clients and navigates their experience with FP Transitions, ensuring each client gets the most out of their engagement and has the best experience possible.
In his free time, you can find Mike playing golf or enjoying the Oregon outdoors with his two daughters. He continues to play competitive amateur golf in the Pacific Northwest today.
Sr. Director Business Development
A seasoned financial services sales and marketing professional.
Mike is a Pittsburgh native and graduated from Grove City College with a business degree and was a member of the soccer team. He spent the next 20 years working for Federated Investors, Inc. (NYSE: FII) in a variety of sales and marketing roles culminating as a member of the Global Financial Institutions team charged with developing strategic relationships with the 100 largest global financial institutions. Mike went on to lead sales and marketing for a number of emerging alternative managers and at FP will be responsible for distributing our services to the intermediary investment advisory market.
Mike makes Portland, Oregon, his home and is married with two children. He is a diehard Steeler’s fan, a dog lover, and has a Spinone Italiano. He enjoys playing golf, reading history books, and has notably summited Mt. Rainier!
