Justice Dutton
Valuation Coordinator
As a true Pacific Northwest native, Justice grew up in Olympia, Washington and studied at Western Washington University, where he obtained two BAs in Sociology and Communication. Justice lived in Texas for a few years and enjoyed everything that the South had to offer, but he has recently made his way back to his roots and is now settled in beautiful Bellingham, Washington.
In pursuing a career in finance, FP Transitions stood out to Justice as a unique business and a perfect environment to place down career roots. Justice recognized that FPT is a leader in its market, offering services that encompass every aspect of finance. The valuation team offers a great development track from entry through the highest levels of valuation analysis. The best part of working at FPT is that he is surrounded by easy-going, hyper-competent individuals who have an even greater passion for finance than Justice does. He enjoys a fast-paced environment and likes learning something new in every conversation he has with our staff and clients. Previously, Justice was a successful pro se litigant, has used his hands to build houses, and now is now pursuing the CFA charter.
Justice enjoys riding his bike while listening to investment podcasts. While not yet a grandmaster of the game, he is also fond of a rousing chess match. Sundays are for football, or some ultimate frisbee with his friends. Helping train amateur fighters who compete up and down the I-5 corridor keeps Justice in the gym. Even with all of that, he still finds time to travel; he met his sweetheart while traveling in Rwanda and he has also spent time doing data collection in remote villages in the Himalayan mountain ranges of northern India.
