Julia Sullivan, CVA

Business Appraiser

Equal parts explorer and analyst, Julia enjoys working with advisors to learn the story behind their numbers.

The role of a business appraiser at FP Transitions is both qualitative and quantitative in nature, and Julia’s background underscores the special kind of work that she does for advisors. Hailing from New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, Julia pursued a dual major at the University of New Hampshire in information systems and business analytics before graduating with a degree in finance and economics. After studying investment markets and financial scandals, Julia has come to appreciate the need for accuracy and honesty in the valuation work that she performs.

During her time in college, she explored and nurtured her passion for business and professionalism as a member of the professional co-ed business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and as a member of her college’s Women in Business club. She exercised her passion for traveling when she spent five months studying in Budapest, Hungary, explored Eastern Europe, and visited her roots in Germany. It was her passion for travel and exploration that led her to the West Coast where she was able to soak in much of Oregon’s natural beauty.

Recently, Julia was granted an opportunity that led her back to the East Coast. Her new location takes her much closer to where she grew up so she is thoroughly enjoying quality time with her family. She will be continuing her role as a business appraiser with FP Transitions, albeit, from across the country! We hope her sense of wanderlust, and her love of Oregon will bring her back to us for frequent visits.

If you ever need to find Julia, look both high and low, because when she’s not working she is most likely to be found climbing a mountain or relaxing on a beach!
